Ecological Mitigation Schemes

Derek Finnie Associates has extensive, practical experience of designing and implementing a wide range of site mitigation schemes for a number of protected species, including great creasted newts, reptiles, badgers and bats.

Projects have ranged from closing small outlier badger setts, through coverting a World War II Pill Box to a bat roost, to translocating a significant newt population to a specially designed receptor site.

We have established links with several experienced contractors who, under our supervision and management, can provide the on site works, removing the need for the client to retain multiple third parties to complete a single project.
